The organizing committee of the 2014 Naha Summer Festival announced that the annual 10,000 Eisa Parade would be held on Aug. 3 with the pre-event set for the previous day on Aug. 2.

The pre-event is scheduled to start from 4 p.m. at Saion Square in Asato, Naha City. The parade takes place next day from 1 p.m. along Kokusai Street.

About 60 Eisa groups with a total of 4,000 people are expected to take part in the parade. Organizers expect over 10,000 spectators along the parade route on Kokusai Street.
