Peruvian Festival entertains Saturday in Okinawa City

Flamenco music, Peruvian bands, Peruvian foods and Peruvian culture are all on tap Saturday as the 2nd Peru Cultural Festival takes place in Koza, Okinawa City.

Admission is free for the festival, which runs 11 a.m. ~ 8 p.m. at 1-17-15 Chuo Avenue in Okinawa City.  The festival is being organized by the Okinawa City Street Meeting and Peru Cultural Festival in Koza Committee, along with the Okinawa International Exchange Association.  At the same time as the festival, Viva Latino Salsa dance party takes place on the international street.

Flamenco dance comes from Pena-Flamenco and Los Lequios provides the music.  There will be Peruvian food sales, an ethnic costume show, and presentations of life culture in Peru.
