Typhoon damages Tokashiki Port, Tamaudun Mausoleum

Typhoon Neoguri damaged a tetrapod breakwater in Tokashiki Port causing the scheduled July 10 ferry run from Takashiki to Naha to be canceled. Also, the World Heritage Site Tamaudun Royal Mausoleum in Shuri, Naha City, was dislocated.

According to the Okinawa Electric Power Company, electric power was restored at Genka in Nago City about 8 p.m. on Jul. 10th. Genka was the last location to have its power back after the typhoon. The power outage in the limited area had lasted for 55 hours.
