According to local press reports on Jul. 4th, Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is considering Nago City as a possible location of a new theme park.

Specifically, the company has its eyes on the Nago Neo Park Okinawa and surrounding area, a total of 30 hectares.

Coordination is under way with related organizations, the company aims to open the facility as early as in 2018. No details are available yet.
