Hiker missing in Kunigami; feared lost in an area river

A 20-year-old man who was hiking is missing at “Tanaga Gumui” in Kunigami is missing.

Authorities at the Kunigami Fire Station received an emergency call a week ago from a man saying his friend had suddenly vanished while hiking at the so-called Tanaga Gumui in Aha, Kunigami Village. The missing man was hiking in the region with three other people.

Search and rescue teams continue scouring the area, but have not found any trace of the man.
