Yaeyama Police arrested a 35-year-old part-time elementary school teacher, Hirofumi Arashiro, on Nov. 13^th, in Tonoshiro, Ishigaki City, on suspicion of unlawful entry and harassing a 32-year-old woman who was visiting Ishigaki as a tourist.

According to Yaeyama Police and officials at the Prefectural Police, Arashiro trespassed into a hostel in Ishigaki City where the woman was staying, around 3:50~4 a.m. on Sep. 6^th, and started sexually harassing the woman tourist from Fukuoka Prefecture while she was asleep.

When questioned, Arashiro has only admitted the charge of entering the facility but denies everything else.
