Large demonstration scheduled in front of Camp Schwab

A large-scale rally to demonstrate against the construction of the replacement facility for the MCAS Futenma on Camp Schwab at Henoko is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, in front of Gate 1 of Camp Schwab.

Organizers expect more than 2,000 people to participate in the demonstration.  This will be the first large protest rally by local people since Takeshi Onaga won the governor’s seat in December last year.

Protesters are planning to conduct protest activities both in front of the gate and from boats offshore.  Organizers have also rented extra buses to take people to the demonstration from various locations in Naha and other large cities.

The GOJ needs to bring the storm troopers from the mainland to give them a beatdown and make them remember the beatings it took to quell them down. Onaga is only pissed because he spent a lot of money like Ozawa did buying up all the land near that area in the name of private development. Both of them stood to make tons of yen but now that the investment is turning into a bust they are angry.
