A man on a motorcycle collided with a 66-year-old woman crossing the street in Kokuba, Naha City, Saturday morning, and ran away from the scene,

According to Naha Police, the woman was crossing the street at a pedestrian crossing on a green light when she was hit by a motorcycle approaching from the direction of Yorimiya High School and heading towards Madanbashi. The victim suffered bruises on both of her legs, but was otherwise unharmed. The motorcycle also fell down, and the male driver left the bike and ran away on foot.

Naha Police is looking for the man and investigates the incident as a hit-and-run case.
