Ryukyu AEON announced officially on Mar. 5th that Apple Co. will set up an official Apple store called ‘NEWCOM’ in the AEON MALL Okinawa Rycom, currently under construction and scheduled to open Apr. 25th. The store will specialize in sales and repair of iPhone, iPad, iMac, and other products of Apple Co. and their accessories.

In addition, the store is planning to hold workshops and events to the public.  The store aims at providing related services, such as consulting of purchasing products, set-up, data-transfer and problem fixing.  The opening of the shop is a part of projects, with which AEON aims to strengthen the digital business of AEON Retail Co., Ltd.

The company is scheduled to open the first NEWCOM store about the same time in the Tokyo region in addition to the store in Okinawa.
