Okinawa General Bureau staff to start summer schedule
Okinawa General Bureau has announced working hours of their staff will change to one hour earlier for two months starting July 1st.
The aim is to allow the staff to make effective use of their free time late afternoon during the summer season, and improve the burden of long working hours and induce a change in the lifestyle of its people. The change affects all of the more than 1,000 staff in the bureau.
Currently, the working hours at the bureau are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., which will change to 7:30 a.m.~4:15 p.m. Personnel who for some reason are not able to change their current working hours will maintain their current schedule.
