Skymark announces new flight schedules for winter and spring
Skymark Airlines, a budget airline currently in bankruptcy protection, announced Aug. 21 its planned changes to its flight schedules during the winter season between Oct. 25th and Feb. 25th, 2016, and spring from Feb. 26th to Mar. 26th, 2016.
Skymark will start a new route connecting Naha and Ibaraki by the way of Kobe that is scheduled to start Oct. 25th with one round trip a day. The aircraft on the route will be Boeing 737-800 with 177 seats. Tickets are priced starting from ¥10,500 one way.
During the winter schedule, the flight will depart Ibaraki Airport at 10:30 and land at Naha 14:45. During the spring schedule, the departure from Ibaraki Airport will be 10 minutes earlier with the arrival at Naha five minutes earlier than in the winter.
The flight from Naha back to Kobe and Ibaraki takes off 16:25, and the arrival time at the Ibaraki Airport is 20:05, both in the winter and spring.
Skymark is reducing flights between Naha and Haneda by one round trip per day to five round trips during the winter schedule. However, during the spring schedule, the airline will revert to the current schedule of six round trips per day.
The flights connecting Naha and Kobe are scheduled to decrease by half to two round trips a day.
