Molson Coors Japan Co., Ltd produced music event ‘Corona Sunsets Music Festival’ will take place this Saturday and Sunday at Chura Sun Beach in Tomigusuku, south of Naha at https://goo.gl/maps/mZBF5

The beach has had a temporary Corona Sunsets Beach Okinawa bar open since Jul. 1st that has attracted many people since day one. The bar is scheduled to close at the end of September.

The music festival was organized for the first time as a resort style music festival on Ibiza Island in Spain, and has since taken place in Mexico, England, Italy, America, and Australia, and is now held on Okinawa for the first time. The line-up of performers on Saturday includes GORILLAZ SOUND SYSTEM DJ SET, Jose Padilla, Mark Farina, DJ Kentaro, Life on Planets, Gregor Salto, Naoki Serizawa, Sairu and Dai Hirai.

On Sunday, Breakbot & Irfane, Jamaica, Benoit & Sergio, Rustie, Caravan, Bok Bok, DJ Iku and Shintaro, will appear on stage.

The bar on the beach opens at noon on both days and the music starts at 12:30. One-day tickets to the event are ¥4,000, while two-day tickets cost ¥6,000. Tickets can be purchased on-line at http://corona-extra.jp/music-fes/ by clicking ‘ticket’ that opens the purchase page.

Organizers note that minors under 20 years of age are not permitted and a photo ID is required as a proof of legal age. No tents, tarps, chairs, umbrellas, cooler boxes, pets, fireworks, pen lights, laser pointers, and outside food or drinks are allowed to the beach.
