Governor to make his case on Henoko to U.N.

Okinawa Governor Takeshi Onaga departed for Geneva, Switzerland, Saturday morning, to give a speech on the Henoko issue at the U.N. Human Rights Council.

Prior to his departure, Onaga said at Naha airport that he would make an appeal about the overburdening base situation on Okinawa at the council meeting.

Onaga is expected to speak two times, on Sep. 21st and 22nd, two minutes each time. He will also have a press meeting with local media in Geneva, and talk in a symposium as well.
