Naha Police on arrested a 24-year-old unemployed man Thursday, on suspicion of invading a home, robbery and assault on a woman in her 20’s.

According to police, Katsunori Miyagi from Nishi, Naha City, is suspected of threatening the woman who came home early Thursday morning, and then entering into her apartment. In the apartment he took ¥50,000 in cash from her while threatening to ‘kill her if she made any noise.’ After taking the money, Miyagi reportedly hit the woman before leaving the apartment.

Miyagi has admitted to the charges. According to investigators, Miyagi and the woman did not know each other beforehand.
