Urasoe City Police arrested a 15-year-old unemployed boy on Thursday on suspicion of a hit-and-run that occurred on Oct. 27th.

According to police, the boy, while driving his scooter, is suspected of knocking down a 68-year-old woman crossing a street in Gusukuma, Urasoe, and then running away from the site of the accident without giving aid to the victim. The woman suffered a minor injury on her head.

According to police, the boy had been driving without a license, and has told investigators, “I do not remember well about the time of the accident.”
