Runners of Chubu Trim Marathon start Sunday morning.

Chubu Trim Marathon is an annual fall event that this year takes place this Sunday. About 4,200 runners have registered for the event that starts at 8:00 and is scheduled to end by noon.

The Chubu Trim Marathon start and finish lines will be at the athletic field at the Okinawa Prefectural Comprehensive Athletic Park at Hiyane, Okinawa City. Because of the event, there will be traffic restrictions from the Comprehensive Park entrance to Nakagusuku Bay district on Routes 227 and 85.
