Kimono shop Kimonobana has a pre-owned kimono bargain sale at Ginowan Marine Support Center on Nov. 7th.

A kimono shop in Aragusuku, Ginowan City, called Kimonobana, specializes in antique and second-hand kimonos and kimono-related accessories. The shop stages a popular occasional sale of their wares that has gained a wide reputation as being the place to find true rock-bottom bargain price pre-owned but good condition kimonos.

Their next sale is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7. The sale features an extra large selection of reasonably priced kimonos and obis. Kimono lovers are looking forward to the sale as kimono and obis can be had from as low as ¥1,000.

Store manager Sakino Yamashiro says that this time they have not only very reasonably priced bargains but also much more variety than usual, especially products that are suitable for a remake or display and decoration. She says this is an ideal event for people who want to start a collection of kimonos, and, of course, for people who already have a couple in their wardrobe but who would like to have a couple more.

The shop has arranged English-speaking staff for the sale, so Japanese ability is not necessary when asking any questions regarding kimonos.

The sale takes place on Saturday, Nov. 7th, from 10:00 to 15:00 on the second floor of Ginowan Marine Support Center. Admission and parking in the area is free.
