Ginowan City Police on arrested a 25-year-old unemployed man from Urasoe City Tuesday, on suspicion of trespassing and an attempted murder.

According to police, Naruto Taira is suspected of breaking into the house of a 29-year-old man in Ginowan City, and hitting him on the head with a metal bat. The man suffered a contusion injury on his skull that will take two weeks to heal, but the injury is not life threatening.

Investigators say Taira has admitted to trespassing and hitting the man, but denies an intention to kill. Police has not revealed whether he has told them the reason why he entered the house and assaulted the man.
