Urasoe City Police arrested Kohei Iha, a 30-year-old restaurant owner, and 30-year-old restaurant worker Shintaro Nakamura, on Nov. 13th, on suspicion of a sexual assault.

According to police, the two men who both are from Ahacha, Urasoe City, allegedly sexually assaulted a 39-year-old woman from the middle part of the island. Police say the men are suspected of indecent behavior like fondling the woman against her will. She was in the same bar with the men on Oct. 28th between 3:00 and 3:40 a.m. when the incident allegedly occurred.

Both men have denied the charges.
