Ginowan Police arrested a 17-year-old unemployed boy without a permanent address, Jan. 12th, on suspicion of snatching a purse from a 71-year-old woman.

According to police, the boy snatched the woman’s purse containing about ¥2,500 in cash on a street in Maehara, Ginowan, and ran away.

Based on the woman’s description, a police patrol searched for the boy in the neighborhood, and found him two hours later. The woman reportedly was not injured.
