Hotel Nikko Naha Grand Castle in Shuri, Naha City, will become Double Tree by Hilton Naha Shuri Castle on July 1st.

The management company of the hotel, Ryukyu Hotel Resort Naha, has concluded a management trustee agreement with Hilton World Wide, and as a result will re-brand the hotel. The Grand Castle Hotel will be the third Hilton World Wide hotel on Okinawa after the Double Tree by Hilton Naha in Asahibashi and Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort. The fourth Hilton hotel on Okinawa is under construction in Kin.

Grand Castle will continue to hire current employees of the hotel, and plans to start renovating the facility gradually. Grand Castle started operating in 1973 in its 20-floor building with 333 guest rooms.
