Orion Happy Park fetes 5th anniversary with ”Happy Party”
Orion ‘Yambaru-no Mori’ is a restaurant inside Orion Beet’s ‘Happy Park’ facility within Orion Brewery in Nago, where the brewery entertains visitors, and also the public can have a lunch or dinner.
It’s also a place where the company holds an annual ‘Happy Party’ on the anniversary of the opening of the facility to thank its customers and fans of locally brewed Orion suds.
The 5th annual Happy Party takes place both on Saturday and Sunday starting 09:00, and the events at the ‘Fun Corner’ at the party wind down at 18:00
Visitors also have a chance to take a factory tour on both days between 09:20 and 16:40, although the production line is stopped on Saturday, but on Sunday, the bottling line runs at full speed.
Besides the ‘Fun Corner’ that features raffles and coaster making, on both days, the program on Saturday consists of a can workshop and balloon art four times a day by a female balloon artist Rei.
On Sunday, live bands play Hawaiian-style music starting 11:30, and Mahalo Hula Studio performs hula. The live performances continue throughout the day until 16:10. On Sunday there’s also three face painting sessions for kids and kid-minded with the first starting at 12:40. At the ‘Fun Corner.’ There is a Japanese goal tossing game “wanage” and can making in addition to raffles and coaster making.
The restaurant is open from 10:00 to 19:00 featuring a special menu of five different kinds of Orion beer. The last order at the restaurant is at 18:30.
Admission to the ‘Happy Party’ is free, but orders at the restaurant are billed at the normal menu rate. Free parking is available on the Orion Beer Brewery compound outside of the restaurant.
