‘Exotic Okinawa’ photo exhibit aims to ‘Remember the Future’
A distinctive photo exhibition is taking place at Rycom Anthropology gallery on the third floor of the Plaza House Shopping Center.
“Exotic Okinawa,” is a photo exhibition currently going on at the third floor gallery that runs through July 21. The exhibition is open every day from 11:00 to 19:00. Admission is free.
The exhibition that marks the first anniversary of the gallery centers on a theme of Okinawa and American cultural influence. It features photographs from 1950 through 1970 divided in four categories of People, Culture, Design and Architecture.
The motto of the exhibit is “Remember the Future.” Photos on display are changed every three months in order to enable visitors to see the future through pictures.
The Rycom Anthropology gallery aims to be a place connecting the past to the future.
