Rakuten, Inc. Japan’s largest Internet retail company based in Tokyo, recently released its list of “Golf Lovers’ Top 10 Hotels in Japan,” and named three hotels from Okinawa among its top 10 in Japan.

According to Rakuten’s ranking, the best in Japan is the ANA Intercontinental Ishigaki Resort in Ishigaki city. The Kanucha Bay Hotel and Villas in Nago placed on the fourth spot, and the Southern Links Resort Hotel in Yaese placed 9th.

The ranking is based on the bookings on the Rakuten travel site of hotels that people selected as a destination with golf as the prime reason for travel. The ranking counted bookings on the Rakuten travel site from April, 2015 to March, 2016 for travel package plans that included accommodation and playing golf.
