Robber takes million at knifepoint in Itoman
Itoman Police is hunting for a man who entered a café in Nishizaki late Thursday evening, just when the café was about to close, and threatening the sole worker at the café with a knife, took the contents of the cash register and ran away.
According to investigators, the robber was a male apparently in his 20’s. He was wearing a striped T-shirt and jeans, had a black motorcycle helmet and a flu mask.
Police say, the robber walked into the café at about 23:35, pointing a knife at a café clerk and demanded the money from the cash register. After taking the money, about one million yen, the robber ran away. The café worker was not injured.
