A U.S. airman stationed on Kadena Air Base was arrested Shortly after midnight on Sunday on suspicion of driving under influence.

According to Okinawa Prefectural Police, a police patrol stopped Rahkeem Fair, a 23-year-old Senior Airman of the U.S. Air Force, after noticing him driving at high speed on a street in Miyagi, Chatan, at about 1 a.m. Sunday. When an officer questioned Fair, he smelled alcohol. A breathalyzer test showed that the alcohol in his breath was over the legal limit.

Fair was alone in his car when he was stopped. He has admitted to the charge.
