Kamisushi in Mihama is a sushi restaurant that over the years has received countless rave reviews from patrons who praise its delicious foods, beautiful drinks and a very friendly staff that’s really going out of its way to make everyone welcome.

The restaurant is now preparing to celebrate its 7th anniversary on Nov. 28 and 29th. The highlight of the celebration is a 50% off everything from the menu, including alcohol for the first 150 customers on each day.

“Better to come early, as it may get crowded,” the restaurant’s kami-2owner and chef Isamu Kamiya says.

The anniversary celebration starts at 17:00 on both days. No reservations or take out orders are accepted on those days. The dinnertime continues until 23:00 with last orders for food at 22:00. Drink orders are accepted until 30 minutes later.

Kamiya says, “We were too busy to celebrate the anniversary last year, but this year we make it two days. I’m so excited to see how kamisushi-1many people come this time. Let’s celebrate with us.”

Kamisushi is known for its great dishes, such as sushi, tempura, sashimi, deep-fried dishes, and good drinks including soft drinks, original unique cocktails, and more.

Over the years, Kamisushi has developed a reputation not only for the food, but because many people have become Kamisushi’s repeat customers as it’s a very fun place. Tasty dishes are prepared in front of the customers, the staff has more smiles than any other on the island, and kitchen is open, so you can watch the cooks toil while you wait for your order.

Even those who are not lovers of raw dishes such as sushi or sashimi will be satisfied as the menu features many dishes that are fried or cooked. Their fare is loved from kids to seniors, and Kamisushi wants to share the celebration with everybody.

Kamisushi is open daily for lunch from 11:30 to 15:00 (including the anniversary days).

Kamisushi is located on the second floor of the building next to Makeman DIY in Mihama. There’s plenty of free parking next to the building.
