Okinawa Prefecture is looking for companies willing to bid for the naming rights of the Nishihara Marine Park in Nishihara Town. The deadline for the bids is Jan. 30th, 2017.

The minimum charge of the right to name the Nishihara Marine Park is ¥3,000,000 per year, not including taxes, and the contract will be for two years.

The Nishihara Marine Park is on a landfill area of 12.3 ha that includes Nishihara Kirakira Beach, a sports ground, marina, parking lots and more. It has been used as a venue for a beach volleyball tournament, music and fireworks festivals, and other events. Over 82,000 people visited the park area in 2015.
