H&M is one of the largest, most recognizable brands in the world. Now, the Swedish apparel company is set to open its first ever store in Okinawa. H&M will open its doors in April inside the AEON RYCOM Mall in Kitanakagusuku Village. Taking over Old Navy’s location, the new store will cover 1300 square meters.

H&M offers a wide-range of men’s, women’s and kid’s apparel and accessories. A Grand Opening Sale is in the works but exact dates have yet to be set. H&M opened its first Japan store in 2008 and was met with immediate success and popularity because of cutting edge fashion at reasonable prices. There are 64 stores throughout Japan.
