Regular flights between Daegu and Naha begin
T’Way Airlines, a Korean low cost carrier, started a regular flight service between Daegu and Naha on Apr. 2nd, with 185 passengers onboard on the inaugural flight from Daegu. Miss Okinawa welcomed the passengers to Okinawa at the Naha International Airport.
T’Way Airlines is scheduled to fly five round trip flights per week through Oct. 28th, except between Apr. 5 and May 3 there will be six return flights per week.
The regular flight service between the two cities is the first ever. T’Way Airlines currently has a regular flight service between Incheon and Naha, and the carrier also flies from Daegu to Narita, Fukuoka, Osaka, Taipei (Taiwan), Shanghai (China), Guam, Hong Kong, Cebu (Philippine), and Cheju Island (South Korea).
