The 14th Kaiensai “Fireworks Festival” will take place at Tropical Beach in Ginowan on April 8th. The festival is collaboration between the one of most famous firework production companies in Japan and culture on Okinawa. It is set to be one of the largest fireworks performance in all of Japan.

Kaiensai fireworks marks the beginning of summer on Okinawa.

The Kaiensai attracts audiences not only from Okinawa, but also a lot of from mainland Japan. The show itself consists of over 10,000 different fireworks and marks the beginning of summer on Okinawa. The main program “Fireworks illusion” will be about an hour long with computer programed fireworks and back ground music from old school pop to the latest hits. The fireworks display will be designed by world renowned designer, Junko Koshino and conducted by one of the top pyrotechnic producers in the world.
