A man driving under the influence of alcohol and without a driver’s license trying to escape a police patrol crashed into three cars including a police patrol car in Miyagi, Urasoe City., Tuesday.

Urasoe Police arrested 22-year-old Hayato Gaja on the spot on suspicion of traffic infringement. Gaja reportedly admits the charges. He also crashed his car through the gate into a nursery school parking lot while running away, but no children were injured.

According to the Police, one of the drivers of the cars Gaja crashed into complained of a whiplash.

A breathalyzer test showed about twice the legal limit of alcohol in Gaja’s breath.
