The first pre-season games in the Japanese men’s pro-basketball B League were played last weekend.

In a game on Sunday, Ryukyu Golden Kings won Shiga Lake Stars 74-68.

After the first quarter, the Lake Stars lead Kings by four points, but in the second quarter, the Kings sprinted ahead spurred by Ninomiya’s three-pointers. The Kings kept the lead to the end of the game.

Ira Brown and Ryuichi Kishimoto scored 14 points each, with Yutaro Suda shooting 12.

Elsewhere, Tokyo won Chiba 77-73, and Toyama beat Nagoya 86-83.
