Fashion Candy, an Okinawa confectioner that transformed traditional Okinawan sweets into fashionable new products and is known for products like “Chocolate Chinsuko”, is reopening its main store in Ginowan Thursday after a renovation, to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

The renovated store has a completely new eat-in space, and in the factory area, customers can see the process of making bread and cakes. After the renovation, the company is starting to bake bread as well. They make about 25 kinds of bread, including baguettes, croissants, bagels and Danish pastries.

To celebrate the reopen, the first 200 customers every day through Oct. 15th will get a present of a leaf pie. The main store in Ginowan is open from 10:00 to 20:00 (last call 19:00). It’s closed on the 3rd Tuesday every month.
