WGEAR presents EBIKEN SPECIAL LIVE! Talent performer, Kenichi Ebina, better known as EBIKEN, will be performing live in Okinawa on August 31st and September 1st. He is best known for winning America’s Got Talent Season 8. His live performance will be held at the Ashibina Shimin Gekijo (People’s theater) located on the 3rd floor of Korinza Mall in Okinawa City. Live performance begins at 17:30 on August 31st and 17:00 on September 1st. Born in Japan, EBIKEN went to the U.S. in 1994 to study abroad.

He took up hip-hop dancing and started to experiment with other dance genres. In 2013, EBIKEN performed in Season 8 in the popular U.S. TV program, “America’s Got Talent”. He eventual won the contest and earned himself a million-dollar cash prize. His performance often includes the use of dance, illusion, magic, and video projected images. He is admired by many for his supernatural abilities and thinking-outside-the-box style. He would achieve another accolade by becoming the first Japanese to perform at a TED Conference.
