It’s official! Hansen Festival has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 26 from 2 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, January 27 from 1 to 9 p.m. on the camp’s parade deck.

This annual event welcomes all service members, their families and locals to partake in a weekend of festival fun for all ages, including food, attractions such as Fun Land’s rides and bouncers and game booths!

Headlining this year’s festival is American rapper, singer, songwriter and composer Flo Rida. His 2008 breakout single “Low” was number one for 10 weeks in the United States and broke the record for digital download sales at the time of its release. Flo Rida has sold over 80 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists. His catalog includes the international hit singles “Right Round,” “Club Can’t Handle Me,” “Good Feeling,” “Wild Ones,” “Whistle,” “I Cry,” “G.D.F.R.” and “My House.” Catch Flo Rida onstage Saturday, January 26 at 8 p.m.

There will also be live local entertainment featuring Street Performer Kenzi, What’s Up Akemi hip hop dance showcase, jazz band Backyard Funk, Clown Kotora, jazz sounds by Stella, classic rock band Sakura Ishadoh and Metallica tribute band, Mattallica. Also, all the way from the Philippines, Major Impact will be performing all your favorite hits on-stage both days!

Hungry revelers can delight in delicious cultural foods and food offerings from MCCS including sizzling burgers from Bulldogs, zesty selections from 305 Latin Bistro, succulent BBQ beef brisket and juicy chicken from Hickory House All-American BBQ, burritos and scrumptious pizza. Adult patrons can also enjoy refreshing beverages courtesy of Kanpai Lounge.

Hansen Festival is open to all SOFA personnel, and U.S. and Japanese citizens. We kindly ask that all patrons enter via Gates 1 and 2. FREE shuttle buses will provide transportation to and from designated parking lots on Camp Hansen. Please leave your pets at home and do not bring any outside alcohol, bottles or coolers. If you choose to drink, please do so responsibly. There will be daiko and taxi services available.
