A 84-year-old woman walking on a street in Hijagawa, Naha, had her purse snatched by a man on a motor bike, Mar. 26. The victim could not give any other description of the robber to the police, except saying the robber was riding a scooter-type black motorbike. The woman was not injured.

On the same day a similar incident occurred in Oroku, Naha City.

A third similar purse snatching took place two days earlier, Mar 24^th, in Yorimiya , also in Naha City.

Police are investigating if there is a connection between the robberies.
