A fisherman discovered a man floating in the ocean at Nago Fishing Port early Sunday morning.

He called the emergency number of Nago Police and Fire Department, and a rescue team arrived at the port about 30 minutes later, where they found a 53-year-old man floating face down on the water near the pier.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was confirmed dead about one hour later. Nago Police is investigating the details of the case.
