Nago Police arrested a 69-year-old man on suspicion of robbing a convenience store Sunday in Nago.

Police arrested Yoshikuni Maekawa after he walked into a convenience store in Miyazato, Nago City, a little before 5 Sunday morning, and threatened the store clerk with a crow bar demanding money. He broke the cash register with the crow bar and run away after grabbing a ¥10,000 from the register. The shop clerk was not injured.

A police patrol found and arrested Maekawa shortly afterwrds.
