An eight-car pile-up involving five passenger vehicles, one U.S. military vehicle and two Y-plate cars took place on an elevated Aja bridge on Hwy 58 in Jitchaku district of Urasoe in the evening of Jan. 5.

According to Urasoe Police the military vehicle first struck the center divider causing the pile-up. The police say there was no injuries, and added that no .alcohol was detected from the drivers.
