Yukiya Arashiro is from Ishigaki island in Okinawa prefecture. He has been selected to join the team as a Japan national member of the Road Bicycle Racing team for the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Arashiro is now a member of the Bahrain McLaren team in Bahrain.
Arashiro was previously chosen as a national member of the Road Bicycle Racing team during the London Olympics (48th), and the Rio de Janeiro Olympics (27th).
This will be his third Olympics.
