Funky’s ready for fall, and will make the first of 14 appearances on Okinawa Sunday at the Tomiton Shopping Center in Tomigusuku City.

Two Funky the Clown shows bring the jolly entertainer on stage to handle balloons balloons and more balloons. She says the goal’s to expand the world of Alice in Wonderland at Tomiton, while sending messages to create memorable shows. Following the Sunday shows, Funky will be available, offering Tomiton’s original balloons.

Funky’s been performing on Okinawa since the Okinawa City Welfare Fest in 2009. She has also appeared at the Naha Festival, Dance Event Passion, the Christmas Fantasy, Gospel Night, and the Lifelong Learning Festival. Funky joined the MESH Support Charity Event and Flower Fest in Kodomo-no Kuni in 2010, as well as at the Music Town Koinobori Fest, Music Town Aroma Fest, and Christmas Fantasy at now-closed South-East Botanical Gardens.

Performances in 2011 supported revival of the Japan Tohoku Earthquake, at Kodomo no Kuni Fest, the Okinawa City Industry Fair, Ginowan City Sports Fest and the Nago Cherry Blossom Festival.

Funky will be at Aeon Chatan on the 16th, 22nd at Urasoe Welfare Fest, at Aeon Gushikawa on the 23rd, and at the Ojana Fest on the 30th. October 6th and 7th Funky is back at Aeon Gushikawa, and on the 8th at Aeon Chatan. Performances the 13th are at the Okinawa City Welfare Fest, and on the 14th at the Ginowan City Welfare and Health Fest. Aeon Chatan is Funky’s venue on the 21st, and she’ll be at A-Lunch Tournament on the 27th. October 28th and 31st wraps up the event schedule back at Tomiton Shopping Center.
