Dinosaur Park opens in Nago

Dinosaur Park Yanbaru Subtropical Forest has opened in Nago just next to Okashi Goten Nago on May 3rd. The Dinosaur Park is operated by Okashi Goten that is a landmark Okinawan sweets maker. The shops are best known for their Beniimo Tarts.

The Nago branch is a green, forested area on Route 84 in Nakayama, northwest of central Nago. The park is located just in front of the Okashi Goten building, and has been open to public as Nature Park Yanbaru Subtropical Forest.

Now the park operator has installed a total of 52 life-like dinosaur figures in the park for visitors to enjoy the thrill of walking among the vicious prehistoric lizards. A shop within the facility that sells dinosaur-related goods boasts the largest selection of dinosaur goods on the island.

The park is open from 10:00 to 18:00 daily. The entry fee is ¥800 for adults over 18 years of age and ¥500 for children.
