The Miyakojima Triathlon Executive Committee is calling for participants to the 33rd All Japan Triathlon Miyakojima Festival to be held Apr. 23, 2017.

People who want to participate are advised to apply on the Miyako Triathlon website (English). The deadline for applications is Nov. 30, 2016.

The entry fee is ¥40,000, and up to 1,700 participants are accepted. A letter confirming the participation will be sent to accepted participants at the end of December.

Organizers also invite contributions to the triathlon poster design contest. The deadline for submitting the design is Nov. 30. Details of the contest are on the website. For further information, call 098-073-1046.
