“Trip Advisor” website announced Sep. 29 results of a survey to select “photogenic sightseeing spots of summer season” based on photos posted on the Trip Advisor website.

In the section of foreign tourists, “Okinawa World Gyokusendo Cave” in Nanjo City was ranked for the 5th place. Reportedly, foreign visitor were particularly impressed by the five-kilometer-long cave in addition to old castle sites and stone-paved ancient streets elsewhere.

Toyako Lake in Hokkaido was selected for the 1st place. Among domestic tourists, Yahiko Shrine in Niigata Prefecture was the number one, Zuiryuji Temple in Toyama Prefecture the 2nd, and Naritasan Shinshouji Temple the 3rd most photogenic spot.
