Kadena airman dies in motorcycle crash

A 33-year-old airman is dead after losing control of his motorcycle driving Highway 329 and crashed into a roadside tree.

Rashard Jackson was driving in the Higashi Onna district of Uruma City at 12:10 p.m. Sunday, traveling to Okinawa City when he ran aground off the roadway and crashed into the tree.  Jackson fell and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead 1½ hours later.

Ishikawa Police are continuing an investigation into the cause of the accident.

    Did they know how fast he was going, type of motorcycle, did he have protection on, any witnessess, was it raining or sunny, rank of “airman”, what caused him to “fell” or lose control, and what hospital was he taken to? This is truly devastating.
