Miyakojima police is pressing charges against a male 61-year-old registered architect in Miyakojima City. They accuse man of violating the Wildlife Conservation Law on Dec. 15 because the man fired a shotgun in an area where hunting is prohibited, and shot wild doves.

The man admits the charge.

The police say they will investigate the incident in detail, and send papers pertaining to the case to the Public Prosecutors Office.

According to investigators, the man fired a shotgun in Miyakojima City at 11:25 a.m. on December 15, and caught 2 wild doves.
