A fire destroyed a wooden one-story private house owned by a 68-year-old woman in Ishikawa, Uruma City, in the morning of Jan. 17.

According to Ishikawa Police, three people of the same family were in the 125 square-meter house at the time the fire started. The 36-year-old daughter of the family was taken to a hospital for an unspecified ailment, but police say she was not injured because of the fire.

The house was burned to the ground. Police and the local fire department are investigating the cause of the fire.
