Flower Festival at Okinawa World
Flowers arranged in a variety of designs, including a large Okinawa lion dog, are highlights of an Okinawa World Flower Festival running through February 11th.
The Okinawa World site in Tamagusuku Maekawa, Nanjo City, is commemorating the start of the Year
of the Snake in the new lunar year. Admission is ¥1,600 for adults and ¥800 for children. The daily festival runs 9 a.m. ~ 6 p.m., with last Okinawa World entry at 5 p.m.
A commemoration photography site has been set up where visitors can have photographs taken surrounded by the many flowers. Okinawa World officials say this is a limited time offer at the Flower Festival.
