A man broke into a store at Maehira district of Itoman City at 7:20 p.m., Saturday, and thrust a knife at a female staff, menacing her with words “money or die.” The robber then got ¥2,000 and escaped.

The woman was not injured.

Itoman police are searching the whereabouts of the man.

According to Itoman police, the man appeared to be 60 ~70 years of age, about 160 tall with a plump figure, and he wore a black long sleeve jacket.
